Just do it! It is so easy to procrastinate, finishing your work will fill you with accomplishment, it will also provide something for others to enjoy!
Don't get depressed by hold ups or delays, the end result is worth it.

My favorite thing is to experience a readers reaction as they are reading my work. I like to share the moment/elation/triumph or heartbreak of my work with others.

I have developed a few methods of dealing with writers block. My response depends on the type of difficulty I am having.
Sometimes I struggle to write a particular scene but ideas beyond it are readily coming to mind. When this happens I will often put together a paragraph in brackets as to what I am looking to achieve and then move beyond it. Often this allows me to use portions of the novel later on to shape the earlier narrative I was struggling with.
Other times I will just relax and try to put myself in my characters shoes and experience the world from their perspective.
Lastly music. It always helps to inspire me when I am thinking / struggling to write.
