As a true theatre nerd, most of my inspiration comes from listening to various playlists and blocking each song as though it were a scene in a musical. I find that changing the medium for storytelling allows me to think or visualize my characters and certain plot points from a more objective perspective as I am looking out at them rather than looking from within.
