S.J.A. Turney Hi Paul. I'm afraid I have no idea. My involvement with audio books ends when I sign the deal and hand over the manuscript. Since the manuscript was complete, this sounds like an issue with either the publisher or Audible itself, but given that the book has been bought many times over the years and this is the first time the problem has arisen, I would suspect the problem lies at the Audible end. Sorry.
S.J.A. Turney Hi Michael. The contract for it was signed earlier this year (February, I think). Once I've signed, it's all in the publisher's hands and I have no involvement until it suddenly appears on sites. :-) Best way now is probably either to watch W F Howes' lists until it appears, or just keep checking audible. Normally I point at the narrator, as Malk Williams at least updates on Twitter regularly, but I don't know who the narrator for BoA will be, as the publisher has changed. Good luck, and enjoy.
S.J.A. Turney Hi Matt. It will in due course. The same publisher and narrator have been doing all my Marius' Mules, Wolves of Odin and more, as well as the Templar books, so they have to keep alternating. I believe Malk Williams is currently narrating the final MM book until the end of August. The only way I know what's coming up is I follow Malk on Twitter! ;-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Wes. Sorry. Don't know how I missed this question. The short answer is yes. MM15 is currently in production, and P6 is in the queue at the audio publisher. :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Michael. Sadly, deadlines and commitments to other publishers made it impossible to produce P7 last year. I am hoping to find the time this summer. The audio publisher who produced books 1-5 declined to continue the series, but I am on the cusp of signing a deal for the audio of books 6 and 7 with a different publisher. Cheers. Si
S.J.A. Turney Sadly, due to deadlines with other publishers, Praetorian had to be shelves for a year or so. I'm very much hoping that scheduling will allow for P7 to hit the shelves late in 2023 :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Armando. MM15 is in process at the moment. It will be titled The Ides of March and will be out on... March 15th (the Ides) :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Ronald. There will indeed. It's currently in progress for release on the Ides of March. :-)

S.J.A. Turney Hi Tricia. On the whole yes. There are a few a little less so, but most of my work is pretty tame. Bad language is kept to a minimum and when appropriate, and there is little or nothing in the way of sexual content. They can be quite violent, but from watching what my own 11 year old watches, I don't think that bothers kids much these days! Which series are you thinking of?
S.J.A. Turney Hi Kenny. Sorry for the delay in reply. If Constantine gets continued it will be by Gordon, who wrote the Constantine parts of the trilogy. We do tentatively have a plan for another trilogy, but it won't involve the same characters. I've got my next 3 years of writing planned out already, but there's lots of fun coming. :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Michael. There is most definitely a 7th Praetorian planned. I've not set a finite limit on them, and the tomsbtone of Rufinus that I've used for the character holds a lot more fun to enjoy yet. As for the audiobook, I've not signed a contract for it yet, but I imagine they will want it. I shall give them a nudge. :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi J J. Orion did not contract me beyond the two books, but I have signed with Canelo to write a further two, the first of which will probably hit shelves some time in 2022. :-) Thanks!
S.J.A. Turney Actually we had all three written before Aries took them on. The third was finished about a year ago. Gods of Rome comes out in the UK in ebook in September and hardback in November :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Kenny. Gordon and I are good friends, and our styles have always been similar. We've busy releasing a trilogy we wrote together at the moment (first book is Sons of Rome). Imperial Spy is Alex Gough's books, I presume. He's top guy too. I read the first of them but haven't had time to read the others yet. I also read his Watchmen series. Praetorian will get through Severus and Caracalla in due course, since the real, historically attested Rufinus served under Caracalla. Have you tried Nick Brown's Agents of Rome? My new series will be military in a similar vein to MM. :-)
S.J.A. Turney Hi Kenny. As it happens, I'm writing book 6 right now (Blades of Antioch). The sad news is that I'll be ending Marius' Mules after book 15. That has always been the plan. But I have a new series lined up to follow it, so that should be a comfort. :-) Cheers and stay safe.
S.J.A. Turney Hi William. There most certainly will. In fact it is almost ready for release. I am awaiting the final cover and then it will be up for pre-order, with general release marked for July 1st!

In fact there will also be three more after that. The series has always been planned to end with book 15. If you count the years forward, I suspect you'll quickly realise why

:-)

Cheers,

Si
S.J.A. Turney Hi Akuma. Thank you for that. :-) Commodus is out in hardback, audio and ebook on 13th June, and I'm not sure of the paperback date yet, but with Caligula it was roughly 8 months after the hardback, so I would think sometime around Feb 2020. I've not yet been signed up for further books, though I have proposals in for two more. Hush hush for the subject, but Nero isn't one of them. ;-)
