Vintage Living in a Hectic World, is my next book, it's an e-book and it came from see clients (as a marriage family therapist) and realizing that people needed a quick and easy read to reduce stress. I hope to publish it before the end of the year.

I never force myself to write. I have enough going on in my life, that I allow writing to be a fun, therapeutic outlet. I see it as a way to be creative, so if creativity isn't happening, I direct that energy to something else in my life.

At any given time I am working on a couple of stories, some which I never intend to publish. "Write" now (get it, haha) I'm working on the sequel to me & Moe, a quick e-book read about reducing anxiety/mindfulness, an adventure fiction story and a children's book.

You don't have to sit down and pen an 80,000 word novel. I probably have 5 active stories at any given time, each with between 5k and 10k words. Just keep writing when you feel inspired and don't force it when you are not.

I love that I can take a concept and put it on paper, and inspire emotion from others. I often say I can type as fast as I can think...so it ends up being a very therapeutic process for me.

I find inspiration from an overly active imagination. Inspiration comes to me from almost every life experience I have. Even something as simple as a hike in desolation wilderness can get my creative juices flowing.
My husband was pretty mortified that my last book was a "dating" book, as we'd been married for 3 years when it published, but he was my muse for so much of the story, and actually lent a lot of great ideas on character development.
