Two things. One is the relationship with readers. Being an introvert, it is the perfect way to connect with other people either through the story or social media. The second thing is the story itself. It feels like magic when I get lost in the unfolding of a new story. It never gets dull.

I haven't experienced writer's block and, fingers crossed, I hope I never will but I have had moments when the writing isn't flowing, more like a trickle. What I do when this happens is take a break and either garden for a bit or just hang out in nature. Then I pull out a notebook and start asking questions about my characters in whatever scene I'm stuck in and the answers usually come and I can get back to writing.
