That is weird, I answered this question, but here goes again. I would love to have my books on audio but it's not economically feasible for me at this time. It takes a lot of time and resources and I just don't have them right right now.

I would love to see my books as audio books, Deb, but I have no plans for that at the moment. I had explored the possibility of reading them myself. My husband and I both volunteered reading books aloud at Learning Ally, which offers books on audio for children with vision problems and learning disabilities. It was fun and we learned so much until they closed their facilities and wanted readers to read at home in "a spare closet." We had to pull away from that. I learned that reading books into audio is rewarding but intensly time consuming. As for hiring someone else to read the books, it isn't economically feasible for me at this time. So I am sorry but stay tuned, you never know.

I'm so glad you love the series, but don't worry it isn't ending anytime soon. There are 11 books in the series so far and I do plan on writing more. Cheers.

Sadly, I never get any information from Lifetime, but I don't think so at this time.

Heavens, no. Lacey will return in another new adventure, hopefully later in 2015, titled the Masque of the Red Dress. But look for a new thriller outside the series titled Dollhouse in the Crawlspace first and possibly a book about Lacey Smithsonian's Great aunt Mimi, when she was a young woman working in Washington, D.C. during the war. It is called The Brief Luminous Flight of the Firefly.

I'm very glad you have enjoyed my books, even though I do not consider them to be cozy at all. They are sharper tongued and satirical. I absolutely support your decision not to support Amazon. That's why we have choices. I made a choice not to starve by taking another publisher contract. But if you give it awhile, LBD will soon be able to be ordered through independent booksellers. Not at all. It will be available in trade paperback, and hopefully be available in some stores, but certainly via Amazon. However, it might be issued several weeks after the ebook appears.

There are a whole lot of things that helped inspire me. For one, when I was a reporter, I attended three Washington Correspondents' Dinners. It seemed like a great place to open a book.
