Hundreds of books! I have a few by Jamie Jo Wright, Mesu Andrews, Tosca Lee, and many others.

Elisa and John from the Zion Covenant series by Brock and Bodie Theone. Love this series!

One of my favorite things about being a writer is helping others who want to become one. I love getting phone calls and emails from people who I've helped get their first piece/book published. There is nothing like seeing the joy in people's faces when they see their writing in print.

In "Belonging" Shelly feels inadequate, as so many of us do. She also feels alone, as even more of us do from time to time. She needs to learn that stepping out of her comfort zone is not necessarily a bad thing. Several of my First Readers have told me they see themselves in this book.

Lots of things inspire me to write. I may be out running errands and see one scene that gives me an idea for an entire book. Music and nature also inspire me. I don't really like sitting at my desk to work. I'd much rather be outside with pen and notebook.

I am working hard to release my newest book "Belonging" the end of July 2014. Here's a synopsis - Shelly is a painfully shy writer. She writes mainly fictional articles for magazines. She has had some books published but under a pen name. After the death of her father she finds her world turned upside down. She is forced to speak with people to plan the funeral and she may even have to move.
Where before she found friendship, outside of her father and Professor Yates, unnecessary, it’s becoming more of a necessity now. She really has to take a step out on her own; out of her comfort zone. She has to learn to spread her wings. All of this scares her to death!

Keep at it. Sometimes it takes a while to break in to publishing. Try different genres. You might surprise yourself!

I always have more than one project going. I have big projects and small projects. If I get stumped on one, I set it aside and go work on something else.
