I don't believe in "writer's block". Simply write. Try not to judge what you are writing (although that is hard). Write, write, write. You can always discard what you don't like later.

There is no substitute for putting in the time. Writing requires personal discipline. After working on my book on and off for a few years, I finally set a schedule for writing and that kicked everything up several notches.
