Thank you! It used to be a lot slower, but these days if I'm on a roll, the turn around can be around 10 months. I've been going a bit slower this year with a lot of events and the like to attend, but that's generally the timeline I aim for. But don't worry, I'm not skipping any important steps like outlining or editing! I'm able to use the time where one book is resting (such as being with the editor or the proofreader) to work on another, so I'm always working on two books at once, effectively.

I always have a specific playlist for each novel/series, so that's my "on" switch when it's time to write.

For the one I'm just plotting out now, it literally came to me in a nightmare of all things, it was less the vision of it, and more the sound... Cryptic, I know, but it will make sense in time!
