When I write, I usually do an outline of where I want the story to go. The outline is a really, really rough outline. It's more like sign posts on the adventure. I use this to help with writer's block. It keeps me focused and on track. I also put small notes telling me key events I need to discuss in the chapter or section. For really hard issues, I let it sit, see a movie, a television show, or play a game. I take my mind off of the issue, and before long my mind will come up with a solution, and off I go into the deep world of subconscious wonder.

Seeing your work available for others to read. It's scarey, exhilaration, and wonderful. It's like Christmas.

Don't let anyone tell you not to dream. Writing and storytelling are essential for those who are driven to express their dreams. If your grammar stinks, I say write. There are word processors and editors to fix the problems. Let no one kill your dream even if you and a select group of people will ever read your works. Also, DO NOT BE AFRAID to have someone read your works. If you're writing is your form of masturbation fine, but writing is meant to be shared with others. Some people will love it, and others will hate it. You can not please everyone. Relish the people who like your works, and learn from those who criticize it. Who knows, the ones who critics might be fans one day.

Currently, I have several projects I want to complete. I have one book in progress called, "The Eternals". Once more metahuman psychic people, but with a huge twist. This will be a series. I also have a fantasy book called, "Atlantis". I know everyone has one. I'm hoping this one is different enough to catch peoples interest. It's related to the Eternal series in a very distant way. There is also a Vampire series I had planned called, "Night Games."

Inspiration for writing comes from many sources, there is real no one source. It's sort of like a fungus. The idea starts out small and seems to gain a life of its own.

A Backed Up John was something I was playing with and evolved from a couple of old friends of mine that kidded me about my white sneakers I always wore. It eventually evolved into a long running joke.
One day, I thought, "What if a character, name unknown, at that time had white sneakers that were scientifically, or magically created to never get dirty. After that, the sneakers were just a vehicle for character to be being of immense power, but with not real knowledge of this ability. After dealing with time travel, ancient gods, heroes of legend, and anachronisms galore, it was just plan fun.
