Susanne McCarthy Hi Kym - thanks very much for the nice comment. Unfortunately I don't know if M&B will ever release Dance for a Stranger as an e-book - they have only released a few of mine. However, maybe if you ask them?

My very first book published by Mills&Boon, A Long Way From Heaven, started as a mash-up of Casablanca and Cheers, with a line of dialogue which came out of nowhere: "Well well, if it isn't the merry widow."
Susanne McCarthy The words "Aosta valley" kept dinging in my head like music. And my friend has a daughter called Evie - the name began to spin a character. What would Evie be doing in the Aosta valley, how would she meet her man, who would he be...?
Susanne McCarthy Read a lot, and write a lot. Watch TV and movies. And write for your own enjoyment, not money or fame.
Susanne McCarthy I really couldn't NOT be a writer. There are people in my head the whole time, bugging me to tell their stories. I have to get them down on paper to shut them up - but then someone else steps into their place!
Susanne McCarthy Sometimes making myself a cup of tea does the trick, sometimes it requires taking the dog for a walk. Sometimes it's best just to skip over that bit, and come back to it later.
