Hello Nick. I just finished The Handyman's History. I'll gladly write a good review. But I wonder if you'd like to see my list of minor errors? I'm a professional editor, so I always read with an editor's eye. I found about 20 minor errors--misplaced, missing, or transposed words; minor punctuation errors and so on? I read it on a Kindle, so it was easy for me to keep track of the things I found.
Nick Poff Hi Terry! First, thanks so much for the perceptive and positive review. I appreciate it. I love getting insight from the readers. As for the errors --- sigh! I am embarrassed to admit that in my haste to get the book "live" I downloaded an uncorrected copy to Amazon. I didn't realize what I had done until I received a proof copy. I have since downloaded the corrected copy, but YES, I want to see your list! I want to make sure this isn't twenty more mistakes I missed. Thanks. I really appreciate your kindness and help. What are you currently working on?
Nick Poff The wonderful response to THE HANDYMAN'S HISTORY has encouraged me to begin preparation for HANDYMAN #5. I'm also working on a serialized story about gay men in the early eighties entitled "One In Six."

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Nick Poff The concept for THE HANDYMAN'S HISTORY began to brew in my mind when I became curious as to what Ed Stephens had been up to before he met Rick Benton in THE HANDYMAN'S DREAM. Rather than do a "prequal," I decided to move Ed and Rick's story forward, and use flashbacks to underscore Ed's uneasiness with some aspects of his past. This came together in a way that allowed Ed to grow and mature in a way even I didn't see coming!
