Marguerite Labbe Me too. I don't think the publisher will do it though.
Marguerite Labbe I'm sorry I didn't see this before. The Garden in Exile series is now out of print. It's been through two publishers. At this point Fae Sutherland and I are working on personal solo projects and don't have any plans on revisiting this world at this time. They were our first though and we have a lot of love for them.
Marguerite Labbe Thank you so much Cil. I'm sorry I didn't notice your question right away. I really appreciate you letting me know how much you loved "The Gladiator's Master." At the time it was published Carina wasn't putting books in print. I hope that some day they will release it in print. *fingers crossed*
Marguerite Labbe Yes I do. Sorry I didn't see this before. We were out of town for the holidays and celebrating new family. The next story I'm submitting is a sci fi and one of the main characters is Indian, though, race really doesn't come up in that setting. I have another coming of age partially written where one of the young men is biracial. I'm plotting out a trilogy of geek contemporary romances in December and at least one of them is going to be an interracial romance. So there are several in the works, coming on down the line. It's important to me to have more stories out there.
Marguerite Labbe I have one more at least that I'd like to do, surrounding getting ready for their wedding and Kristair starting a paranormal detective agency. Jacob isn't too fond of that idea, overprotective man that he is. The idea just hasn't gelled entirely for me. It's funny, I was literally just thinking of them the other day, saying I should reread all three books to see if the answer smacks me. I'd loved those two.
Marguerite Labbe I'm sorry I missed this. I thought I'd get an email letting me know I have a question. Yes, I write books. I've been writing and publishing for years. :)
Marguerite Labbe Mostly it's in quiet moments. I used to love taking long car trips because I'd pop in a CD, let the boys take a nap and just give myself a couple hours to think. "Ghosts in the Wind" came from a car trip like that. Sometimes I'll get ideas on my commute, often though now, it's when I go for a walk.
