Judith E. Pearson I never have writer's block. Anyone who has writer's block should read my book: Improve Your Writing with NLP. That book contains an entire chapter on how to blast past writer's block.
Judith E. Pearson The best thing about being a writer is that I get to send my ideas out into the world, hopefully to help others and improve their lives in some small way.
Judith E. Pearson My best advice is to read my book: Improve Your Writing with NLP. It's available on Amazon.
Judith E. Pearson I'm working on a book tentatively titled: Slenderize Your Mind. It's about the "fat thinking" patterns that keep people stuck in unhealthy eating habits and sabotage their attempts at weight management. I've identified seven such patterns, based on over 15 years of counseling people who are overweight.
Judith E. Pearson My inspiration comes from everyday life - mostly my responses to what my clients are doing. I notice patterns and I draw linkages. For example: when I work with clients who have a fear of public speaking, I notice that all of them obsess about how badly they perform and how their audiences will judge them harshly - obviously not a good formula for confidence - so I wrote an article about that for Toastmaster Magazine that was widely circulated in several other online publications: Reframing the Three Fears of Public Speaking.
Judith E. Pearson I love to write. I've been publishing articles and reviews since the 1980s. When I became certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in the 1990s, I noticed that my clarity of thought and expression improved dramatically. This carried over to my writing. I realized that also no one was talking, writing, or teaching about how much NLP enriched writing - so I decided to write a book about it: Improve Your Writing with NLP.
