Gregory Alexander Sharp Il Lupo draws on my childhood love of the classic black and white horror movies. We are talking the Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and Lon Chaney Jnr era.
Additionally, I weave in themes of chronic stress and anxiety, and of the debilitating nature of grief. These are again very personal to me.
The scenery takes us to some of my favourite places in the world, from the highlands of Scotland to the ancient cobbled streets of Pompeii in Italy, it's quite a ride.
I wanted to pull all of those ideas together in a story that had a feel of being a good old fashioned adventure, with a supernatural edge to it.
Gregory Alexander Sharp I'm currently working on a sequel to my debut novel, the working title is Il Lupo 2.0, and I have a first extremely rough but fairly complete draft.
It's quite exciting developing the backstories of the characters who survived the first outing, and also introducing a number of new characters. As with Il Lupo, there's really enough material to have written two book, but I enjoy weaving the threads together. It will be another chunky read, and another adventure packed with jeopardy.
Gregory Alexander Sharp Greg had always felt that somebody in his life would snap under the pressure one day and become a murderer. He had no idea that he, himself, would be that man.
