Nate Wagner Work through the problem. Example: if I'm stuck on a character, I work through these four questions –– 1) who are they? 2) what is their purpose? 3) why should I care? 4) can I feel it?
Nate Wagner Seeing my book on Amazon and getting a great review from someone I've never met. I'd also add that being a writer is something I love doing and it has no limitations.
Nate Wagner Don't wait to get started and don't covet your ideas. I never took a creative writing class in my life, but I did get some great advice as I bashed around on the internet searching for editors, publishers, etc. Once I copyrighted my manuscript, I felt confident in sharing it and this helped me find the people I needed to help me.

Nate Wagner COVID was my original inspiration. I was working at home in 2020 and began wondering what I should do with my spare time ... bake sourdough, or finally write 'that book' I've been dreaming about. Now I can't stop writing because I love getting these ideas out of my head and hearing from readers how much they enjoy the book(s).
Nate Wagner Dreams. Honestly, I have vivid dreams (sometimes) and if my wife likes hearing about them ... I write them down. Eventually, these notes become outlines and 'story starts' for future novels––of which I have 14+ ready to be written and published.
