Angelika Regossi Yes, of course! You can feel the joy much stronger when you know, what is suffering. It's like enjoying food more after the hunger or a drink after the thirst.
In general, I think that suffering is a good stimulation for success and higher achievements in life for strong people. For the weak - suffering is destruction. While the strong will fight to climb out of the suffering hole, the weak will sled in it deeper with depression, drugs, or alcohol.

I like this quote from the Lebanese-American creative man of the last century: Khalil Gibran. He said: "Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars."

You asked about the music. I like to listen to Armenian classical composer Aram Khachaturian. For his life-full compositions, intensive rhythm, and exotic approach. He was and still is a pearl of Armenia, despite that he was a member of so much hated Communist party.

Angelika Regossi Hello Ray,
I am so glad you wrote me, I didn't know you would reply :) I am also not sophisticated with the cyber world and being active in social media is unusual to me. I still have to learn a lot.
Being patient is nice - but of course, the author wants his/her books to be read and liked.

You asked me which of my books to read first.

I would suggest reading first "Love in Communism. A Young Woman's Adult Story". I wrote it from my heart. The main character is a girl who becomes a young woman. Some parts of her story will shock you or make you cry, somewhere you will laugh. Full spectrum of feelings.
I hope you will have an enjoyable reading and I am very curious about your opinion.
Kind regards,
Angelika
