Bethany Bauerle The idea for my book was a personal one as it is actually about my son and my daughter. As an autism parent I know how important it is to raise awareness and acceptance and I wanted to put that in a book for kids, because many kids don't quite understand what a life with autism means for both the person and their families. So I wanted to take a different approach and have the story told from the sister's perspective with lots of information about non-verbal autism, sign language, etc.

Bethany Bauerle I am working on several new projects, but my main focus is an adult paranormal romance novel and another children's book that I am still outlining.
Bethany Bauerle Do not give up! Don't let your self doubt keep you from doing what you love. Even if you are afraid to put your story out there, just do it. It might surprise you how much support and love you will receive.
Bethany Bauerle I don't. Writer's block is a part of every writer's struggle. It hits me a lot, and all I can say is you just have to take a break. Meditate, spend time with your kids, self care, etc. Taking care of yourself while writing is important because it can be stressful at times. Taking a break regularly will help get those creative juices flowing again.
