Greg Fultz My most recent just so happens to be my first published eBook. It's short but sweet. The thought and reason behind it actually came from one of my customers, I run a computer repair business (writing doesn't pay my bills) in my business I have a method I teach my customers on how to create a secure and safe password. After I taught this one customer he was thrilled with the concept and said you need to write this down so you don't have to explain it every time.

I did have a written version of it because I teach it in a workshop a couple times a year but it did give me a thought. I wanted to see how Amazon's Kindle Desktop Publishing system worked (the self publishing book route) because I had just finished writing my first novel and I wanted to see what I was going to have to do in order to get it self published when the time came.

So, I took my password creation method and polished it up and put it in KDP format and gave it a catchy title (The GEFNET Methodology of Password Creation) and went to self publish it and it was just super easy and Amazon really has self publishing down to a science because before I know my method was now an eBook officially for sale on Amazon.

That's how my first published eBook came to be.
Greg Fultz I'm sure it's like many authors, you have this idea in your head or maybe it's just a bunch of words that you have to get on paper and you yourself have no idea what it will become. You just know that you have to get it out and on your chosen medium. That's how it is for me when I have an idea it must come out or it just keeps gnawing at my insides until I release it.
Greg Fultz I'm currently working on my first novel. It's in its first draft phase and I'm currently working on editing it. I expect to have it possibly finished for publication by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
Greg Fultz Personally, I've always been grammatically challenged. I'm not a english major nor was I ever any good at english classes or writing for that matter but I did always have ideas in my head. I wanted to put them to paper but I had no skills or knowledge how to write unless it was just a big wall of text without any punctuation or proper grammar. So I never did any writing except for a blog that nobody wanted to read because it made their eyes bleed LOL.

Then I started getting involved with other blogging groups and writing communities and I saw the error in my ways and I started to put effort in my writing. It still wasn't perfect and isn't perfect now but I thought to myself after getting motivated by other authors in NanoWriMo that I can do this too!

So I did. NanoWriMo principal is to just write 1667 words a day. no prep, no thought behind it, just write. I loved that simple principal. It took a lot of the stress behind writing of my shoulders.

At the end I had a 50,000 word novel. My advice to any aspiring writer is this... IF I can do it You Can Too!
