I take the break. I work on more creative things, like finding book cover models, creating the covers for the book, film/edit/create TikToks, or get outside and take my child to the park or out for a day. I don't ONLY take her to the park when I'm blocked, before anyone calls CPS (jokes).

Music helps me a lot. Finding songs that sum up the overall feeling I want the book to leave with the reader, or songs that inspire scenes. Reading a really good book helps too, it motivates me because I think "I want to inspire these feelings in others" or "I want to be half the writer that author is."

I love reading MC Romances, but I'm very picky and will DNF them quickly. I wanted to write one that I loved, and then when I found the Dark Romance genre, I decided to revamp my work in progress that I had been working on for years. I love MC Romances and Dark Romances with a stalker, so I decided to combine them. Thus Reese and Callum's story was born.
