Daisy Valentine oof- writers block. I know it sounds bad, but after taking a break from it for a couple of days, i force myself to write. You shouldn't wait for inspiration to strike, as then you're never going to finish writing the book. Set a timer for twenty minutes and force yourself to write absolutely anything, then take a break. The inspiration will find you, and you'll realise that ideas have been flowing without you noticing :)
Daisy Valentine I guess having an excuse to stay inside and not socialize LOL
Daisy Valentine To remind them that there are going to be times when you hate your work. And id like to remind you that its not because its bad, its just because you know the ins and outs of it and have read it a million times. Take a step back, and remind yourself that a reader has never read it before!
Daisy Valentine I'm currently working on book 2 of my duology (second draft written), but i am also thinking of some ideas for my third book, set in the same world but different characters. One of the side characters from my debut novel, i really want to capture his love story and finding himself. It will be a lot of work, but i'm excited about it!
Daisy Valentine Usually when i am sleeping...I KNOW WEIRD! A lot of my dreams have actually been used as plot lines :) But sometimes just sitting and doing nothing can inspire me. Going for walks really help as well, being one with nature can really get the ideas flowing.
Daisy Valentine I knew that i wanted to write a story for the autistic people that feel lonely. I wanted to make a story that reminded them that they are powerful and not weak, and that being autistic is a superpower and not a burden. As an autistic person myself i worried that i could never make a meaningful connection and fall in love, but this book is a reminder i can.
