Tim Allard I consider myself an aspiring writer, so my qualifications to answer this question are suspect.

However, I can say that if your goal is to get your material out into the world, YOU have to put in the work. Nobody will push you, nobody will help you, unless you first push yourself. Once others see your hard work and dedication, they will line up to help make your work better.
Tim Allard I've never read Call of the Wild, so I'm doing that this week. I'm into survival books, so I'll be looking for more in that genre...recommendations welcome!
Tim Allard It was dark. But not dark enough...
Tim Allard My most recent (and so far, only) book, Live and Let Work, was inspired by my experiences...at work. In engineering, we get asked to do what are called "lessons-learned" documents after each project. The idea is that you document all of the things that went wrong so that future projects can avoid making the same mistakes. Live and Let Work was a kind of lessons-learned document for my own career.
Tim Allard I'm not currently writing. My first book, Live and Let Work, was released in July of 2022. As of now (still July 2022...) I'm working on promoting it. I'm also moving in the next few weeks, so my plan is to be writing again this fall.
