Itai David Njanji I self publish and get motivated by life. Life happens at its own pace, I just interpret it. So "writer's block" is just another life event.
Itai David Njanji Writing is Art, it allows you to get intimate with yourself than anything else in the world. Poetry is even better.
Itai David Njanji Start where you are and write a book you can write. You don't have to write a book you can't write. If its 50 pages, poetry, sci-fi, start there. The process is more valuable that result. I have a poem called "process" in the book that talks about this.
Itai David Njanji I have a few books I am working on now. But mostly I am spending time with readers of Reflections, signing copies and doing interviews.
Itai David Njanji To me, inspiration comes from life itself. All my poems are based on real life events, whether its death, love or travel. Names in my books are of real people and places are of real places. I encourage my readers to take the time to review the places to fully appreciate the spirit fo the poems
Itai David Njanji I have been writing for the past 15 years, and when I was traveling in Europe, I decided to write. There is a poem in my book called "En la Calle" written in Sevilla, Spain; that is when I truly decided to write.
