Writer's block is a tricky thing for me because I have ADHD and I'm usually able to play it off as just wanting to work on something else that's caught my attention at the moment.
I've also been trying to do better at not forcing things. If I'm getting bored or stuck with a scene, maybe that's a good place to end it or switch things up.

For me, the best thing about being a writer is that it allows me to dive into other worlds. In some ways it's like discovering them through the character's' eyes.
Oftentimes I'll start with a loose outline, but by the middle of the story the characters have started making their own decisions and I start to learn so much more about them.

As a baby author I did a lot of studying about how to write and the expectations of the genre I was writing in. For romance authors, the publishing industry has changed so much and is always updating so I also joined specific communities on Facebook for *spicy writing* to stay up to date on things writers were already talking bout or dealing with on the business side of the craft.

The inspiration for my debut novel came from a writing prompt I received at a conference after I had an unfortunate incident with my car. I still can't believe it eventually grew from a 4 page short story to a romance novel series.
