Whenever I get stuck, no matter where I am in the process of writing the book whether it be the initial brainstorming or when I am pulling together sentences, I don't try to force myself through the writer's block. I take a step back, relax, and patiently wait. The cause of the writer's block may not be quickly resolved but I find that, for me, when I am in a relaxed mode where my attention is not specifically on my book, is the time when new ideas come to me that help with the writing process.

Don't be afraid to try it! Take the time you need to feel comfortable with the brainstorming and putting "pen to paper". Even if it is a few sentences per day, that is progress! Enjoy every moment throughout the entire process even the tough times where there may be difficulty pulling your story together. Keep pushing through and enjoy the incredible feeling of accomplishment when your book is completed.
