Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Martin Walker Strong female characters inspire my writing and I wanted to break the mould of the male dominance of espionage and gutsy attitude. Esp. in Maisie G - she is really kick ass!

How do you get inspired to write?

Martin Walker The teen environmental movement stirred the passion I have for the living world, and I wanted to tell a story about teens who had a moral code to protect the world's biosphere.
Then I, carried on writing. enjoying the process and research!

What are you currently working on?

Martin Walker The second in a series called 'Maisie G' - a teen assassin. Awaiting the cover artwork.
Awaiting the cover artwork for 'Hybrid Reborn'. To be published in the next few weeks!!
Also, writing the third in the trilogy, 'Hybrid Renewal'.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Martin Walker Write! Just do it. No way will most of us become the stars of stage and screen, but the joy of getting a story down, polished and honed so that it makes sense, is pure excitement. You never know where it might take you. If readers like it too, then that is a bonus!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Martin Walker Creating characters that I hope will be loved by readers. Also, being as crazy as possible with the plot line, whilst making it as plausible as I dare!
