Jacqueline Greer Graham Walk around the block! I literally go for a walk around a block in my neighbourhood, or watch a show, listen to a podcast, watch a TED talk, phone a friend, go out for a nice meal, etc. In other words, I do something, other than writing, to get inspiration.

The island has an interesting history and my experiences growing up there were defining, so that fuels my inspirations.

Several people told me to write a book, but I didn’t appreciate the importance of documenting my story until the corona virus pandemic emerged. Living through a global crisis gave me a different perspective, and inspired me to write my story.
