M.S. Saxon That's great! Thanks for voting David.
M.S. Saxon Hi David

Are you voting for 'A Nose for Murder' in the Listopia list 'The Importance of NOT Being Earnest: Humorous Mystery Fiction?'
If so, the link is here and I'm at number 26 at the moment.

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

Just click on 'vote for this book' (provided you've already given the book a star rating) below the star rating, and that would be just smashing, thanks. Let me know if you're still having difficulties.

Sometimes the position jumps & falls over time.

And thanks so much for your support!

Best wishes,

Margaret
M.S. Saxon From a lifetime of hearing other people's stories. Some of them quite tragic. But I didn't want The Purple Dolphin to be all doom and gloom, so I peppered it with lots of humour. Because it contains some very different and difficult themes, it was hard to categorize by genre. I'm still not sure how to describe it in a sentence.
M.S. Saxon I have a very good memory and a lot of storage space. I listen and read, and somehow I get ideas from all of that. But the will to get started is sometimes lacking. I need a push sometimes. Just a couple of pages in and that will get me all fired up, as long as I know where I'm headed. Must have a good plan.
M.S. Saxon A collection of illustrated rhyming jokes and stories for middle grade (8-12 years) and another for adults. I've been an artist for many years, and I'm loving combining the two separate crafts.
M.S. Saxon Don't ever think you have to follow market trends. Write for yourself. You are unique.
M.S. Saxon Getting inside my own mad head and having the nerve to put it in print, with only me to pass it off as normal. Sometimes I surprise myself - where did that come from? Didn't know I felt like that. I find things out about myself!
M.S. Saxon Listen to some music favourites while scrubbing the bath. Go for a brisk walk on a cold day, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells around me. Watch a black and white Cary Grant film.
M.S. Saxon The strong smell of fish woke her, and she found herself gazing at a giant herring wielding a blood stained axe in its fin.
"Cure me, and your life will be spared,' it said.
M.S. Saxon If I was younger, it would be Alice's Wonderland. Not sure if my old bones would survive the rabbit hole accident though.
I'd still eat and drink everything Alice did, no matter what the consequences, but I'd give the beheading queen a swerve.
Most of my actual dreams are just as weird.
M.S. Saxon Oh heavens, anything by Adam Kay, Belinda Bauer, Jane Fallon and several others. I'd also like to read A Man Called Ove and David Gaughran's Amazon Decoded.
M.S. Saxon My sister was seen boarding a train with a strange man and luggage on a weekend when her fiance was away at sea. I found out his name, and there was a rumour behind it, but in fifty years I have never had the courage to ask her about it. She went on to marry the fiance and now lives abroad. Maybe there was something more sinister behind the secret weekend away, other than the obvious? I told my mother about the sighting, but she yelled at me and told me I was making it up. Never was her favourite, as you might guess.
