I take a lot of inspiration from character driven movies and video games. I would describe myself as being a very shy and introverted person with intense empathy, so I connect with fictional characters very easily. They become real to me.
And in a fast-paced world, I have a hard time sitting still or turning my brain off. But when I do, inspiration tends to strike. This is often while I am falling to sleep at night or while I'm driving. More than once I've had to pull over and quickly jot an idea down before I forget it.

I am currently working on a new book of poetry and illustrations, set to publish in early 2025. I am also working on books two and three for the Incandescent series.
