Usually my writer's block is due hitting a wall or problem in my story. When this happens I take a step back to work out the kink, then push myself forward. Talking to friends about the issue can help a lot, too. Even without getting feedback, just verbalizing the scenario goes a long way in deciding how to move forward.

My D&D group started an ATLA campaign last year and it inspired me to write my own story about element-wielding magic users. "Heralds of Chaos" is dedicated to them.

Music really sets my mood when I sit down to write. Very rarely do I write in silence. The music has to be just right, too. I mostly listen to instrumental songs such as Two Steps From Hell, movie soundtracks, etc.

Definitely Middle Earth. I'd want to visit Rivendell and learn from the elves. It would be amazing to listen to their tales and songs.
