C.M. Adler My idea for Kissing Crows initially came from the idea that Rapunzel freed herself from the tower. What it grew into is a story about the relationship between a mother and a daughter and the deep sacrifices we make out of love.

Yes, Rapunzel frees herself from the tower, but at a great cost. It is those moments in our lives that transform us from maiden to mother to crone. Rapunzel begins that journey in this story.
C.M. Adler I was inspired to write from the time I was pretty young and everyone gushed about my use of words. I am learning a lot more about storytelling, trying to make each book better than the last.

C.M. Adler I like to go for a walk to get my body and my mind moving. And the sunshine and fresh air helps. If it's stormy outside, I will walk around my house or clean something while I think through whatever plot point has me stuck for a moment.
