The only way to deal with writer's block is to write. Forget relying on inspiration or spark. If you're in a block, that means your spark ain't there. Don't worry about it. It'll come. It'll go. And it'll come again. But if you're writing, no matter how good or bad the writing is, you're moving forward. Take your breaks as needed. Use them for watching TV, reading, game playing, whatever. But then come back to the writing, and you'll be alright.

I been working on the Neo Chronicles universe since high school. The idea from it came from just wanting to see some cool stuff happen to some cool characters of mine.

Me and my friend Mark used to just come up with our own stories and adventures in middle school. And we kept that going through high school. Eventually, we got the idea to write this stuff down. And ever since, I've been at it. Being a Black guy into fantasy and sci-fi action/adventure stories, the main driving force was to create a world where people like me were active participants. So that's a major part of all this as well.
