I generally put what I am working aside when I find myself with writer's block. I start working on the illustrations or sculptures for the characters or I will start on another part of the story. The story eventually evolves and I can continue where I left off. You can't force creativity. But everyday you can write or do something pertaining to the story and be creative. Everyday I keep moving forward. I dont stop.

You are not only writing to express your own personal thoughts and opinions, remember you are touching others hearts and making a difference in their life. You never know how your words can help someone who might need some encouragement. Words of wisdom can affect some one’s world. People are reading to learn something new. I am currently formatting the rest of the books that are in the Sculptlings Collection. I am fine tuning all the illustrations for each format that they need to be in.

As an artist I am always working on a project. I jump from writing, to being artistic and craft to playing an instrument or just learning something new to do. I never get tired of being creative. When all projects are done, I go to the beach and enjoy surfing. Being out on the water and just feeling the peace in the air rejuvenates my creative flow again. New projects emerge and I am inspired again to write and illustrate new ideas.

Initially Sculptlings were made as handmade ornaments. I started sculpting Sculptlings over 25 years ago. I then wrote stories around each character that I created, which turned into adorable story books. I currently have a collection of 30 books that I will be releasing from Nov 2021 to December 2022.
