Dasha Tryon Wallace I would love to travel to the world of Harry Potter and learn to be a wizard.
Dasha Tryon Wallace I always loved reading. One day I was hanging out at a friend's house and I found out that she wrote her own stories and she asked for help in writing her current story. After helping her I started writing my own stories and the rest is history.
Dasha Tryon Wallace The idea for The Fan Society came from church. I was sitting behind someone who had this black dress with a whole bunch of fans on it and I thought it would be cool to learn how to fight with a fan. Then I thought of how in victorian times every lady had a fan and thought it would be awesome if they could fight with their fans and what if one of them was a spy. Then it transformed into a what if it was a Cinderella spy novel that takes place in historical England.
Dasha Tryon Wallace Seeing people enjoy my work. It is such an amazing feeling to see so many people who I've never met gush over MY work.
Dasha Tryon Wallace As I walked into my living room I fainted at what horror had befallen me. All of my books were gone!!
Dasha Tryon Wallace Keep at it! Make a schedule and stick to it. Even if you can't write for long periods of time, if you write consistently you will get your book written.
Dasha Tryon Wallace I'm currently working on book 2 of my Fan Society duology.
Dasha Tryon Wallace There are many ways. A lot of it depends on what is causing writer's block. If it's story and I'm having a hard time I need to fix or add to my outline. If it is mental I tend to read my story out loud to beta readers (i.e. my sisters) and they help me realize that yes I'm going a good way in the story and give me ideas to play around with for the rest of the story.
