Oh my. It's painful. Stepping away, getting fresh air, spending time with my grandchildren, sitting on the beach and just admiring the majesty of God as waves come in, and praying is what I usually do when the flow stops. It's usually a subtle hint, that God wants me to take a break. Even He needed to take a day to rest.

I've been writing and scribbling words for as long as I can remember but being a published author is new. Putting words on paper or sending them into cyberspace is one thing, but seeing that your words are reaching people around the world that you will never see or meet is an amazing feeling.
God calls us to spread the Gospel, His word and His love around the world. We all can't leave our homes and family to travel to the corners of the world to answer His call, but we can send His message through technology. Thank God for the people that He inspired to create all the forms of media that are at our disposal to do His will. I am in Awe.
God knows who my words were written for. He will make sure that His message gets in their hands. As Dallas Jenkins, the director and creator of the Chosen has said, “Our job is not to feed the multitude,” Dallas explained. “Our job is to offer the loaves and fishes.” The rest is up to God.

Pray. Write what's in your heart, especially what God puts there. Don't give up. Writing is a gift from God. Use the gift to uplift and encourage others. You have the gift and the desire for a reason.

I am currently working on two more books that will become part of the Holy Whispers series. I am also busy preparing to lead two new Bible study groups based on the series The Chosen. I completed the first study on Season one in June and I am very anxious to begin our study in September based on season two of The Chosen. I have been so blessed doing these. It is an amazing series. My inspiration is from God and the amazing, personal relationship that I have with My Lord.
God apparently works on a different time schedule than I have. He seems to like to wake me up at 3 am to spend one on one time with me. I end up praying and talking to Him about most everything through the wee hours of the morning and that seems to be when He inspires me and whispers to my mind and heart the most.
I am also inspired by circumstances in my life or in the lives of others who are struggling for answers, for hope, for healing or to simply feel that someone cares.

My new book, Green skies and Holy Whispers, stemmed from a journey of healing and forgiveness with Our Lord, after being wounded and broken due to events that occurred in my past, particularly my childhood.
