Dillon Bancroft The amount of people who filter through my head and getting to know them through their stories!
Dillon Bancroft I don't feel like I'm authorized to give advice, honestly. But there is one thing I've learned along the way. There's a quote out there that goes along the lines of "You become a different person every time you finish writing a book."

For me, every time I write, I don't follow the same rituals. So I think the moral of this advice is what you think was the "right" way before, may not be the "right" way this time around.
Dillon Bancroft This one is hard to answer because I've lost myself in so many books that there are a ton of places I could see myself in. Hogwarts for sure. I'm a proud Hufflepuff, so going to classes would be a total dream come true. Narnia would be awesome. Roller Town would be amazing. So many!
Dillon Bancroft Music! Almost all of my characters introduce themselves to me through a song. All of my books in the creative stage get a song title as the working title (To be clear, I never keep the song title as the title of the book.) Then I go on Spotify and find a mood playlist to listen while I write.
Dillon Bancroft I like to go back to craft books or courses through conferences like Inkers Con. When I can listen to a seasoned author detail their own experiences with writer's "sewage", it gives me a confidence boost that I'm not alone. OR, I'll start reading other books to give my brain a break.
Dillon Bancroft I am working on the second book of the Sage Creek Series!
Dillon Bancroft To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Scenes started appearing in my head and wouldn't leave me alone until I sat down and got the words on the page.
