April Asher Hey, D....

So the short answer IS that it's a standalone with no additional books planned AT THE MOMENT, but like in all my books, I LOVE my secondary characters, so I did leave it open in case my publisher is like, "hey, let's do more after all", but if that doesn't happen, I do hope to eventually indie pub the friends' stories and a few of the things you mentioned, :-)
April Asher Wow, that's a long answer, lol. I actually first fell into publishing romantic suspense after a fellow nurse-writer friend encouraged me to start the process of querying for a literary agent. And I'm lucky in that I got my rockstar agent with the second book I queried (the 1st came close, but ultimately, no offers). But after the hurdle of getting an agent, then it's the hunt for publishers (if you go the trad route).

My advice for people who want to get published is figure out the best way that will work for YOU. I have wonderfully talented friends who publish in all avenues currently available. If you decide to go the trad route, patience and persistence is key as things move A LOT slower than what we nurses are used, lol.
April Asher Dad's there in book 1 and book 2 (remember the family dinner where Damian's brother was invited?). ;-) Both parents were around growing up, but you're right, they did spend most of their time w/ Grandma Edie.
April Asher I've had many readers start out of order and tell me that they had no issues following along. But there IS more world building in Not the Witch You Wed.
April Asher Soooo, long story shorter. EVENTUALLY, I hope to get Harper her story, but it would be indie-pubbed and I have to find time in between contracted books. So yes, I hope to give Harper her HEA at SOME POINT, I just don't know when that will be. Also, I have plans for a little sneaky peak into a young, pre-Prima Edie as well ;-)

April Asher The cover's illustrator is Carina Lindmeier, an Austrian artist! She's now done all three books of the Supernatural Singles Series!
April Asher Oh, which ones DON"T I love? lol. Honestly, my favorites are fake relationship, forced proximity, and enemies (rivals) to lovers. But I also adore second-chance...and I could really list many, many more, LOL.
April Asher Absolutely!!!! We haven't released the title names (but I have them ;-). The second book is Rose's HEA, and the third is Olive!
April Asher Who ate the last golden Oreo & then put the empty package back in the pantry. (lol)
April Asher Creating new worlds where everyone gets their HEA.
April Asher There's no 'aspiring' there. If you write, you're a WRITERS...and as my little plaque on my desk says...

"You can't edit a blank page." Just sit down and WRITE.
April Asher The sequel to Not The Witch You Wed (title a secret for now...)
April Asher My friends, my family, and my readers inspire me every day!
April Asher Covid! As a nurse, at the start of the pandemic, I needed an outlet that was the farthrest from reality as one could get...hence an alt-reality NYC where supernaturals are out in the open, LOL
