T.P. Jagger Short answer: Read, write, repeat.

Longer answer: Spend lots of time with your nose in books, both to enjoy good writing and to dissect it in order to improve your own writing. And then . . . write, write, write! Because it's impossible to become a good writer if you don't spend plenty of time writing. And a little warning: This process will involve being a BAD writer, too. Because if good writing came without practice, then everyone would be a good writer. So keep writing. And when the writing's good, embrace it. When it's bad, learn from it. If you stick with it, this read-and-write-and-repeat process can guide you down the road to being a writer.
