What are you currently working on?
Rose Addo I am currently working on my biographical work.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Rose Addo Honestly, it's a healing process for me to be able to write my story-releasing the pain and suffering inside to create a book.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Rose Addo I would encourage them to write nothing but the truth and without holding themselves back. You have to be authentic so your story is real. It also doesn't matter how much schooling you have, but write to your abilities. You know your own story.

How do you get inspired to write?
Rose Addo In my acknowledgements, I listed Oprah Winfrey because since 1987 I watched her show every day-I felt she was speaking to my life.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Rose Addo I feel God gave me the strength to write about my life, which has been difficult. I'm hoping to inspire others.
