I very rarely struggle with writer's block. I usually carry a notebook with me and takes notes of all ideas that come to my mind throughout the day. Then when I sit to write I review the ideas, pick a suitable one for the piece I need to write, and start writing. Besides, I do journaling every morning, which helps a lot.
