I came upon a painting of three monkeys (hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil) and so my mind sort of ran with the idea that society can be unforgiving when it comes to deviants. So, my modern literary fiction book (Be No Evil) is centered around that theme.

The popularity of being an influential writer (of which I am not) is near nonexistent. An author can go around a big city and not be stopped once, since their appearance is unimportant compared to the ideas procured from their books.
