I'm behind on my Carl Hiaasen stuff, he's always been one of my favorites. I also like Kenneth Goddard's military/political thrillers, and I haven't seen what Tom Clancy has been up to in a while.

This was something I've been considering for years, and the content is all from my law enforcement career. After retiring I opened a private investigation agency, and this book started out as a training manual that I was going to share only with young investigators who were working with me. I decided to take it on a broader level and turn it into this book.
