What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Việt H. Nguyễn That's like asking what's the best thing about being myself. I've always, am always, and will always be a writer, the only thing that will ever change is what I write at a particular moment in time.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

How do you get inspired to write?
Việt H. Nguyễn I don't get inspired to write, words demanded to be put on pages, and I'm simply following their will. Seriously, though, writing has been a crucial part of my life, much like breathing or food and water, I cannot stop writing, so I've never pondered on what particularly inspired me in the first place.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Việt H. Nguyễn Reading or rereading books or watching certain TV series and movies that had inspired me before. Otherwise, talk to my best friend and try to bounce ideas with him.

What are you currently working on?
Việt H. Nguyễn Book 2 of the Half-Alive Series are already in the work. My friend and I are excited to explore the universe we've created in book 1.

And my own series, which share the multiverse with Half-Alive, but in its own universe. It'll be aimed more at Middle-graders.
