Writer’s block is funny for me. Nine times out of ten it’s usually when I’m trying to force a scene to happen in a story and it’s just not working. This is a very stubborn way of my mind telling me to go back to the drawing board and try again.

Creating a whole world out of nothing more than an idea. Being able to create something out of nothing absolutely amazes me to no end. There is literally no limit to your imagination which is why I love to write.

Do it! Write your damn heart out! Do it for yourself and don’t listen to the haters who criticize your work. Every author started out as you did right now. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to write a best seller. Start with a story YOU would want to read. Put your heart into it, and go from there.

Inspiration can come from anywhere. Maybe a book I read or a TV show I’m watching and suddenly my imagination runs wild. But I really need to be committed to the story before I can dive completely into it. As some would say, you have to put your heart into it and make it into a book that you yourself would want to read. Then, you can’t go wrong.
