Kimberly Marraffino I don't believe in "writer's block". I believe that when I sit down to write and I can't seem to focus or get the words out right, then it's time to step back from it and allow my mind to rest and refresh.

If you can't write, you aren't meant to and it will show in your work. So, I step back and wait for the creative juices to start flowing naturally again.
Kimberly Marraffino Writing is my escape. It's my way of expressing myself in a way I can't verbally. And I love bringing my ideas to life for others to share and enjoy with me.
Kimberly Marraffino WRITE!

Plain and simple. Just write. You can worry about plots, worldbuilding, dialogue, and editing later. Don't strive for perfection the first time around because you can't perfect something that isn't there. So, just write.
Kimberly Marraffino I am currently updating all my notes on my Magic of the Realm series and outlining Book 4. I am also working on an outline for the Karramis/Will spin-off NA book, and a paranormal adult romance book.
Kimberly Marraffino I don't think I really need inspiration to write because I am always thinking about writing. It's more of having the time and energy to actually do the writing. But I am always writing down notes, dialogue, poems, ideas, my emotions/feelings in the moment, and randomness in my notebooks and on my phone.
Kimberly Marraffino I actually came up with this idea when I was 16, but I didn't start outlining, planning, and writing until October 2019 after my daughter, then 9, convinced me to write it after I told her the idea.

And the idea came to me in a dream and actually focused solely on Karramis when it was in the beginning stages. The twins didn't come into play until years later.
