I have a semi-draft of one novel done, though I am letting it sit since I was not feeling it. I have started on another novel - this one feels more promising. Yesterday I got an inspiration for another short story, so I've jumped onto that one. I know, I know, too many distractions, too many idea. But hey, that's a writer's mind for you.

Making up characters and stories, creating a world of suspense, adding those twists which make me rub my hands together in glee :)

It depends. If it's for a brief period, like a day or two, I take a break and do other things. The best ideas appear out of the blue and then I know what to write. :). Other times I just superglue myself to the chair and force myself to write. The result may not be spectacular, but it is progress, and I am able to polish it on a better day in the future.

That's a great question! The first one that comes to mind - why don't my socks make it out of the dryer? "Who ate my socks?", I would call it. Though on second thought, that's a common mystery and someone may have already beaten me to it. As I ponder over this question further I realize I live a boring life without mystery. Perhaps that's why I spin my own mysteries. Now, to head for the kitchen and figure out where those chocolates disappeared ...
