How do you deal with writer’s block?
Niki Block If something isn’t working, I’ll change the weather, or the setting. It sounds innocuous but it works. I don’t force scenes if it’s not organic if that makes any sense whatsoever

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Niki Block Never stop creating! I have written entire novels and scrapped them, and then stolen ideas and names and plots from the scrapped novels I wrote years ago and turned them into something new. Your own ideas will inspire you in the future. Never give up!

How do you get inspired to write?
Niki Block The creative juices start to flow late at night when I’m trying to fall asleep. I generally take inspiration from a lot of different sources, such as music, shows and movies that I like to watch, and other novels. I adore Tana French’s dialogue scenes
