Writing allows you to create a whole new world of your own, especially while writing fictions. Any physical or moral issues that you have completely goes away when you are writing a story or at least these issues disappear temporarily when you are working on a story.

Most of them when they start out, they try to develop an idea into a full-fledged novel. When they are not able to do that, they give up. Instead of this just try to develop your idea into a short story with fewer pages. And then write similar short stories and compile them. Novels can be tried later when you gain certain writing experience.

I believe that writer's block mostly happens when you are stuck with a particular idea and unable to figure out how to proceed with that. If something new comes up in your mind, then try to work on that. Most don't do that and they keep trying to finish the story that they are stuck on.
