My favourite books (well, you could probably just turn to any of my favourite authors and see them LOL but I'll list them here)
The Bible - From a religious standpoint, the Bible is a book I try to live by, read every day, and use to understand God and His will. From a literary standpoint, you cannot read most great Western literature without knowing the Bible and Biblical references.
Outlander - I love the creativity, lush descriptions, and detailed subplots and likeable characters and the historical immersion that you get from this whole series.
Six of Crows - this is such a fun series!
Venetia by Georgette Heyer - I love the characters and Heyer has an amazing way of writing. Really the next best thing to Jane Austen herself!
The Selection by Kiera Cass - this book series makes me laugh, cry, and swoon. Also, it's just fun, fluffy escapism.
The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella - it's just good fun, hilarious, and fluffy chick-lit. What's not to like?
The Lost Heiress by Roseanna M White - I may have said this before somewhere else, but this book inspired me to write Christian fiction. I reread it all the time.
And there's loads more! I just can't think of them right now!
