Sometimes I get writer’s block. I overcome it by taking a quick afternoon nap. I think about a scene that is giving me trouble, lie down, relax, and close my eyes. Usually, an idea will then come to mind…sometimes before I even get a chance to sleep! This nap lets my creative mind think the situation over and come up with possible solutions.
